Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Celebrating at Whirlow Brook Hall
On the south-west fringe of Sheffield, close to the Yorkshire and Derbyshire border, Whirlow Brook Hall is a manor house dating from 1906 set within Whirlow Brook Park. Its 39 acres of landscaped gardens make it feel far removed from the city, even though the centre is only a short drive away, and the house still keeps many of its original features.
The hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and also welcomes humanist and celebrant weddings. Vows usually take place in the Oak Room, which holds around 80, while the Garden Suite, overlooking the grounds, seats up to about 120 for the wedding breakfast. Although outdoor legal ceremonies are not possible, couples can hold a blessing out in the gardens. Exclusive use of the whole venue also brings a Ready Room for getting dressed and a Chill Out Room, and overall the hall can host anywhere from small gatherings up to around 180 guests.
The gardens are the star in summer, with lawns, mature planting and plenty of corners for portraits as the light softens in the evening.
How We Plan Your Evening at Whirlow Brook Hall
The evening party usually builds from the Garden Suite, so we coordinate with the hall’s team on the turnaround after dinner while guests head into the gardens. As darkness falls, uplighting gives the room a warm, intimate glow, and our all-white DJ booth sits neatly against the period interior. Cold spark fountains can be added for the first dance if the venue allows them.
