Eden Barn is a traditional Westmorland stone barn, around 200 years old, in Little Musgrave near Kirkby Stephen. It stands on roughly 100 acres in the Upper Eden Valley, with the Pennine hills on the horizon, and it sits handily between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The Harker family run it, and that small, family feel comes through in the way the venue is looked after.
Inside, the barn has a vaulted ceiling, exposed stone walls, a limestone flagged floor, oak doors and oversized chandeliers. Indoor ceremonies take place in the barn itself, while outdoor options include a handmade pavilion, a canopy of festoon lights and a meadow by the stream, crossed by a little bridge and stepping stones. There is room for up to 144 day guests and 200 in the evening, with an adjoining bar and reception area under a floral canopy, a lawn and patio for drinks, and a private lounge for the two of you. Evening food comes from The Shack, and The Eden Inn, about three miles away, can sleep up to 34 guests.

Can we have cold spark fountains at Eden Barn?
Cold sparks are indoor-safe and produce no heat or smoke, so many venues allow them, but every venue has its own rules. We check with Eden Barn for you before you book them. They are included in our Platinum Package.
