Lodge Farm Weddings is set on a working family farm in Cundall, around ten minutes from the market town of Thirsk, with views across to the Yorkshire hills. It is booked on an exclusive-use basis, so the barns, courtyard and grounds are yours for the celebration.
The heart of the venue is a restored Grade II listed barn, about 200 years old, with 62 windows, original oak trusses wrapped in fairy lights and big barn doors that open onto the courtyard. Up to 130 guests can be seated for the ceremony and for dinner. After the vows, drinks and canapés are served in the courtyard, and the wedding breakfast takes place in the grain store, where old brickwork meets steel and polished concrete. There is also a snug with Chesterfield sofas, a wildflower-edged wedding paddock, a private wood, and a woodland walk to Cundall Church if you would rather marry there. On-site accommodation sleeps 14, including a bridal suite with a roll-top bath.
