Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Getting Married at Asquith Hall
Asquith Hall is a restored country house hotel and spa on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, only a few minutes from Scarborough and the Yorkshire coast. The house sits in around 17 acres of secluded grounds, with landscaped gardens and open countryside views, giving couples the feel of a rural escape while staying within easy reach of the town. It’s a pet-friendly venue, too, which is good news if your dog has a starring role in the day.
The hall holds a wedding licence, and outdoor ceremonies are possible in the grounds when the weather is kind, with confetti welcome for that classic exit shot. Around 150 guests can sit down for the wedding breakfast, and the venue can host roughly 200 for an evening reception, with marquees permitted for those who want extra space. Exclusive use is available, and with 35 bedrooms sleeping up to 80 people, along with a bridal suite, honeymoon suite and on-site spa, it’s easy to turn the celebration into a relaxing weekend on the coast.

With so many guests able to stay on site, evenings at Asquith Hall have a relaxed, house-party feel. As your Asquith Hall wedding DJ, we’ll talk to the venue team about where your dancefloor will be and how the room will turn around after dinner, so our all-white DJ booth and uplighting are set up and ready in good time. Uplighting adds warmth to a country house room and can be matched to your wedding colours. If you’re planning a marquee, we’ll work with you on the layout so the dancefloor becomes the heart of the evening. For cold spark fountains during your first dance, we’ll check with the hall that they’re permitted, and we confirm finish times and sound levels before the day.
