Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Getting Married at Wold View Farm
About three miles from Driffield, in the farming hamlet of Cottam on the East Yorkshire Wolds, Wold View Farm is an exclusive-use barn venue set within four acres of woodland. The restored farm buildings have a cosy, rustic feel, with a quiet, rural setting on a working farm.
The main building, the Haybarn and Loose Box, has separate rooms for the ceremony and the reception, linked by a foyer with the main bar, a snug and a mezzanine. A converted cartshed with its own second bar and patio is also licensed for ceremonies, giving you two very different places to say your vows. Around 120 guests can be seated for the ceremony and meal, with room for about 150 in the evening. Catering is the couple’s choice, which gives plenty of freedom with the menu, and the bar is run in-house. Three log cabins on site sleep 12 in total, and the booking includes a two-night stay, with an extra night in the smallest lodge for the newlyweds.
Your Evening Party at Wold View Farm
With the ceremony and reception held in separate rooms, the evening space does not need a rushed turnaround, so the dancefloor is ready and waiting when you finish your meal. Restored barn interiors look gorgeous with warm uplighting, and our all-white DJ booth gives the room a clean, bright focal point. The foyer bar, snug and cartshed patio give guests places to catch their breath between songs. If the venue approves cold spark fountains, they make a beautiful first-dance moment in the barn.
The venue is licensed until midnight, so as your Wold View Farm wedding DJ, Wayne will plan the music to build towards a great finish just before then. We confirm exact music timings and sound levels with the venue before the day.
