The house is a restored Grade II listed Georgian mansion on Lidget Street, brought back to life after a multi-million pound renovation and opened as a boutique hotel, restaurant and wedding venue in 2018. In 2022 it was named Best Hotel Wedding Venue in Yorkshire at The Wedding Industry Awards. Inside you will find bold, characterful styling, eleven boutique bedrooms and several rooms licensed for ceremonies, with St Stephen’s Church just across the road for couples who want a church service.

Getting Married at Manor House Lindley
Manor House Lindley is a Grade II listed Georgian building on Lidget Street in Lindley, on the western side of Huddersfield. For years it was known as Fieldhead and served as a children’s home before a multi-million pound restoration brought it back to life as a boutique wedding venue, restaurant and hotel. The result is a beautifully finished house with plenty of original character, modern touches throughout and eleven individually designed bedrooms, including a honeymoon suite.
There’s real flexibility for the ceremony. You can marry in St Stephen’s Church right next door, or choose one of the six rooms licensed for civil ceremonies, with space for up to around 150 guests. The Coach House was created for larger weddings and gala dinners, and the venue can seat up to 160 for a meal, with numbers of around 200 possible overall. The Clock Tower bar opens onto a terrace for drinks, there’s a roof terrace too, and a dramatic floor-to-ceiling bar gives the evening a sense of occasion.
