Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Your Wedding Party at The Huntsman Inn
The Huntsman Inn stands high on Greenfield Road above Holmfirth, on the edge of Saddleworth Moor where West Yorkshire meets the Greater Manchester border. Up here the Pennine scenery does a lot of the work, and the inn’s rear garden, which is reserved exclusively for function bookings, looks straight out across the Holme Valley hills. It is a proper Yorkshire country inn too, with a pub serving JW Lees ales and an on-site restaurant, which gives the day a friendly, down-to-earth feel.
Celebrations are held in the inn’s air-conditioned function room, which seats up to 150 for a sit-down meal and can take as many as 250 for a buffet or standing reception, so it suits a big evening guest list. There are 15 en-suite bedrooms for close family and the wedding party, and free parking makes it easy for guests driving in from Huddersfield, Holmfirth and over the hills from Manchester.
Planning the Evening at The Huntsman Inn
With one main function room, the party normally takes place in the same space as the meal. While the tables are moved and the dancefloor is cleared, guests can head out into the garden for a drink and the hill views, then come back in as the evening invitations arrive. Our all-white DJ booth and uplighting change the feel of the room completely for the evening, and with space for up to 250 people the dancefloor can get very lively.
