Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Your Wedding Day at Saltmarshe Hall
Saltmarshe Hall is a 19th-century country house near Howden, standing in about 17 acres of mature parkland that runs down to the banks of the River Ouse. The grounds are a big part of its appeal, with sweeping lawns, woodland walks, blossom trees and a secluded walled garden laid out with a kitchen garden, hornbeam hedges and planted borders. Only one wedding is held each day, so the house and gardens feel entirely yours from the moment you arrive.
All of the reception rooms inside the hall are licensed for ceremonies, and couples can also marry outdoors, perhaps in the woodland or beneath the blossom. Ceremonies take around 100 guests, and the outdoor terrace can seat up to about 118 for a summer wedding breakfast, with total numbers of around 200 for the evening. There’s plenty of room to stay over, too, with 14 bedrooms in the hall, a converted three-bedroom stable house and two cottages, and Howden station is only around ten minutes away by car.
