Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Planning a Wedding at The Bridge Hotel & Spa
The Bridge Hotel & Spa sits at Walshford, just off the A1 on the outskirts of Wetherby, which makes it one of the easiest venues in the area for guests coming from Leeds, York or further afield. It is an independent hotel with a countryside feel, 37 bedrooms and a spa, so the whole party can stay over and recover the next morning.
There are three function suites, and the one you use depends on your numbers and on whether you lean towards a contemporary, classic or more historic style. Ceremonies can be held indoors or in an outdoor gazebo surrounded by fields, with up to around 100 guests, and the meal can cater for up to 150. Exclusive use of the hotel is possible, and couples get a honeymoon suite with discounted rooms for guests. Catering is handled in-house, and confetti is welcome outside.
Your Evening Party at The Bridge
The hotel provides a dance floor and allows discos and live music, and music finishes at 1am, which gives a good long evening. Depending on which suite you choose, the room may be turned around after the meal while guests relax in the bar, and we time our set-up around that. Our all-white DJ booth and uplighting tie in with most colour schemes, and cold spark fountains can make your first dance memorable if the venue approves them on the night. As your Bridge Hotel & Spa wedding DJ, Wayne will plan the running order with the in-house toastmaster so the cake cutting, first dance and party all flow. Sound levels are something we always check with the events team beforehand.
