Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Your Wedding at The Gamekeeper’s Inn
The Gamekeeper’s Inn is part of Long Ashes Park near Threshfield, a mile or so from Grassington in Upper Wharfedale and inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It combines a proper country inn atmosphere with the facilities of the wider park, which includes a leisure centre, swimming pool and the Long Ashes Pure Spa, so guests have plenty to do across a wedding weekend.
The main wedding space is the Netherside Suite, with oak beams, a big log-burning fire and large windows looking out over the countryside. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 120 guests, can serve a formal meal for the same number and welcomes up to around 200 for an evening reception. There is a relaxed bar for drinks and pre-wedding get-togethers, a conservatory dining room, and a mix of rooms, suites, lodges and woodland pods for guests to stay in, including a honeymoon suite.
How We Plan the Party at The Gamekeeper’s
The venue provides a dance floor and allows discos and live music, and with the Netherside Suite carrying the day the evening normally follows on in the same room once it has been reset. We set up during that changeover while guests gather in the bar, so the party can begin as soon as the doors reopen. The beams and fireside look lovely with warm uplighting, our all-white DJ booth keeps things smart, and cold spark fountains are an option for the first dance if the venue gives permission.
