Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Your Wedding at The Manor Rooms
The Manor Rooms are on the Drewton Estate at South Cave, in rolling countryside between Hull and Brough, a little way off the A63. It is a barn-style venue with a relaxed, rural feel, garden space outside and plenty of parking, and it is easy for guests coming in from Hull, Beverley or further west along the M62.
The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies indoors, and outdoor ceremonies are also offered, so couples can say their vows outside when the weather is kind and move inside for the celebration. The day typically includes the wedding breakfast and an evening buffet under the same roof, and there is a dance floor ready for the party. Accommodation is available on site for those who want to stay over, and the venue is dog friendly, with good access for guests with limited mobility. The Manor Rooms is geared towards proper parties, with minimum numbers of about 70 for the day and 100 in the evening.
Setting Up the Party at The Manor Rooms
With the meal and evening sharing one space, the changeover after dinner is when we get everything ready, so the dancing can start straight after your first dance. Our all-white DJ booth sits by the dance floor, and uplighting lifts the barn interior once the light starts to go. Discos, live music and fireworks are all permitted here, so cold spark fountains for the first dance are well worth discussing with the venue.
