Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Getting Married at Rise Hall
Rise Hall is one of the largest privately owned Grade II listed stately homes in Yorkshire, set in manicured gardens and private parkland in the countryside north-east of Beverley. Guests arrive to grand rooms, period details and views across the lawns, while the old kitchen gardens on the estate are now tended by a local charity, adding to the sense of a house with roots in its community.
There’s a wonderful range of ceremony options. The Morning Room and Drawing Room each seat around 120, the Orangery Ballroom takes up to 180, and the lawn can host an outdoor ceremony for similar numbers. The Orangery Ballroom, with five sets of patio doors opening onto a terrace, hosts the wedding breakfast for up to 180 and becomes the dancefloor later on, with a traditional pub-style bar right alongside. The Library makes a cosy retreat for a nightcap, and with 31 bedrooms sleeping 62, much of your party can stay over. There’s even a firepit for those cooler evenings.
How We Plan Your Evening at Rise Hall
The Orangery Ballroom is where the party happens, and because it doubles as the dining room, we plan our setup with the team so the turnaround is quick and seamless. As your Rise Hall wedding DJ, we’ll place our all-white DJ booth to keep the flow between dancefloor, bar and terrace easy, and use uplighting to bring the ballroom to life as daylight fades. Rise Hall is licensed until midnight, with a late licence available to take the party on to 1am, so we’ll map out the night around your chosen finish. If you’d love cold spark fountains, we check with the venue that they’re permitted, and we confirm sound levels before the day so everything runs smoothly.
