Our Evening DJ package covers five hours, and where your venue’s licence allows, you can keep the party going after midnight in half-hour blocks up to 2am.
Celebrating at The Out Barn
The Out Barn is at Clough Bottom in Bashall Eaves, a quiet corner of the Ribble Valley a few miles from Clitheroe, with the Forest of Bowland close by. It is a family-run venue made from repurposed stone barns that hosted functions and training for many years before its first wedding in 2009. It now focuses mainly on weddings and was named Best Wedding Venue at the Lancashire Tourism Awards in 2022.
Couples have exclusive use, and ceremonies can be civil, celebrant-led or held outside, with up to about 150 guests. The meal can seat anything from 20 to 150. Outside the bay windows a wildflower meadow comes into bloom in summer, which makes for wonderful photographs, and the family puts a real emphasis on sustainability and caring for the surrounding countryside. There is a honeymoon suite for the couple, a licensed bar, a wedding coordinator and parking on site.
How We Plan the Party at The Out Barn
The venue has its own dance floor and welcomes discos, live music and even fireworks, so the evening can be as lively as you want it. We set up our all-white DJ booth beside the floor, keep cables tidy and out of sight, and add uplighting to bring out the texture of the stone walls as the evening draws in.
